CompareYourSecurity is free to use and reader-supported. When you request a quote through our form or call our line and connect with a provider, that provider may pay us a referral fee — at no extra cost to you. This never changes our ratings or which products we recommend.
CompareYourSecurity does not sell, install, or monitor security systems. We independently test and compare systems from the brands and providers on the market, then help you choose and connect with the right one. The actual product or service is provided by that company, under their terms.
When you submit our quote form or call the number on our site and we connect you with a home security provider, that provider may pay us a referral fee (sometimes a per-lead or per-call fee). We do not use paid affiliate links, and manufacturers do not pay us for favorable coverage. We only ever recommend providers we would genuinely trust.
Our editorial team scores every product using the same published methodology, and no brand can pay for a higher score, a better ranking, or favorable coverage. If our top-rated pick isn't a provider we're compensated by, we still rank it first. Where a recommendation could earn us a referral fee, we disclose it.
If you use our quote form or call us, you're agreeing that we may share the name, phone number and ZIP you provide with a home security provider so they can contact you about a quote.
